Ladies section AGM

Will be held at the club on 10 June. It's your section so come along and have your say.

Looking to elect the following officers:
Chair
Treasurer
Secretary
Fixtures and rugby secretary

We also need someone to do the matchday stuff that Kean does as he is no longer able to. There are incumbents for some but you can nominate others.

FWOE 7s

Meeting at cWRFC at 9.45 or at Five Ways at 10.15. Bring some cash along with you, but should be cheap enough to enter.

Address is:
Five Ways O.E.
Masshouse
Ash Lane
Birmingham
West Midlands
B48 7BD

Go to Hopwood services junction on M42. Head towards Birmingham and go right at first roundabout. After 200 yards and opposite Hopwood pub is a petrol station on the right. Immediately BEFORE the garage is a little lane. Take this and follow it round. There are two clubs next to each other. FWOE is on the right.

Details are:

Registration will be between 11:00 and 11:30 (first matches start at 12:00 pm). It is vital to the running
of the day that all teams have arrived by 11:33. On arrival you will be required to register and submit
a Squad Sheet (attached) and retain your copy. You must also nominate a Team Manager for the day.

Fees for the tournament will be £25 with a £20 deposit which will be returned on attendance. Both
sums must be as two separate cheques (made out to FWOE) with the initial entry form to 141
Tiverton Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6BS. Entries must be received by the 5th May 2008, late
entries may be considered dependant on numbers.

The Tournament will be group based. The precise structure will not be finalised until the day of the
tournament when we know exactly how many teams are present. We expect all teams will play three to
four games dependant on the number of teams entered.

Looking for something to do on Saturday?

Mesasge from Hubbs.

Hello all,
I know Pippa has text this round but I thought I would send out an email so the whole club know. The squad for Saturaday is:
Pippa(c)
Ken
Keates
Scary
Tracy
Care Bear
Milly
Kat
Abi
Rhi
Cheesy
Guestie
Coach: Yappy
First game starts at 1000 am. We need to be there for 0900. That means meeting at the club(where we train) for 0700.
If you are going direct postcode is LE7 9SP. Or google Stoneygate RFC for directions. Would be great to have plenty of travelling support.
I wont be there as I am coaching up in Cumbria in the hope of getting to Twickenham.
Make sure you take:
  • Water bottle
  • Rehydration fluids(e.g. Lucozade - still NOT fizzy)
  • Jelly sweets - no chocolate
  • Fruit - not apples
Good luck.
